Click on images SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS Berkeley The challenge for this design was to create a colorful and welcoming garden appropriate for the front of the church while also reflecting the naturalness of the larger setting—at the entrance to Tilden Park. A foundation of native plants – monkeyflower, penstemon, hummingbird sage—is highlighted with a few non-natives—Australian bush mint and humming bird mint. The garden is open to the deer and for visitors to stroll through.
