|  Maintenance of Scott and Jenny Fleming's showcase California native plant garden in the Berkeley hills. Started in the early 1950's, it is considered one of the oldest and most beautiful native plant gardens in a private home. Over a thousand people visit the garden each year: 2002-Present.

Member of the Board of The Friends of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden in Tilden Park (www.nativeplants.org): 2005-Present.
Wrote two articles about the Fleming garden. The first, in Pacific Horticulture, tells the history of the garden. The second, in Manzanita, the journal of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden, is about what makes it such a successful native plant garden. Links to the complete articles are on the left of the page.
